Get to know Peggy

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Knowing my family is healthy, happy, and enjoying their lives. And good pizza.
What is your current state of mind?
Optimistic! Someone once told me I was neither a glass half-empty or glass half-full person, I was just someone who looked at the glass and saw all of it’s possibilities. I think that sums up my approach to life.
Which talent would you most like to have?
I would love to be able to sing. It seems to be very freeing and a satisfying and a creative way to express emotion.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My greatest achievement is teaching my daughter the mindset that all things are possible, and that you alone are responsible for how you respond to and live your life. She knows that no matter what happens in life, every day is a new opportunity to create a new reality for yourself.
Where would you most like to live?
Where I am now; the Outer Richmond in San Francisco.
What is your most treasured possession?
My engagement ring. It’s a rose gold Claddagh ring that my fiancé purchased in Kinsale when we were in Ireland for a friend’s wedding and visiting family.
What is your most marked characteristic?
Tenacity. There is always a path forward, sometimes it just requires some out-of-the-box thinking.
Who are your heroes in real life?
My parents. They have a great partnership and have always been able to create a good life for themselves wherever they go
What is your motto?
I wonder what’s going to happen today?
In the movie “What the Bleep Do We Know,” Dr. Joe Dispenza talks about how he takes time to create his day, and asks for a sign from the universe to show they are working together, one that shows up in a way he won't expect. I like the idea of having a surprise from the universe each day.
