After visiting San Francisco for the first time as a college student, it didn’t take long for real estate agent William Crum to realize it was meant to be his home. A long-time resident of the city since 1996, he never tires of the opportunity to meet new people from all walks of life and to help them make the Bay Area their home as well.
Born and raised in the southern mountains of Virginia, William obtained an interior design degree and worked in the design and home furnishings industry for 24 years. During that time, he developed many close relationships with his clients and became a welcoming and trusted presence in their homes. When his career reached a crossroads in 2013, William welcomed the opportunity to become an assistant to an agent with whom he had been working as a home stager. He obtained his real estate license the following year.
William’s approach to his real estate career is no different from his days as a designer. He strives to satisfy his clients and colleagues in every aspect and cherishes the opportunity to do so. And his design expertise is an added benefit to his clients: What is an empty room to most people at a home viewing is a fully furnished space to William, and he helps them envision aesthetically pleasing surroundings.
William currently resides in the Twin Peaks neighborhood of San Francisco with his four-legged sidekick Sidney, a Border Terrier. He loves to travel, expand his culinary tastes, and support St. Anthony Foundation, Grateful Gatherings, and numerous HIV/AIDS organizations.
